Millions of people are learning to live in the present moment. To do so, one needs a daily mindfulness practice. Because these practices involve regular, disciplined periods of sitting still in single-pointed focus, they require good and sustainable tools.

  • Very creative ideas, combinations, blending different ancient traditions
  • Good explanation of basics of Buddhism and how to integrate simple mindfulness daily

  • Focus and deep understanding of the writing will require adequate prior knowledge
  • Writing wants it all at once

If you are new to the concept, I would suggest you to look for a book with basic information included first. The book is written in a way to get you in the right mindset. I was able to get the range that I wanted. Only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars is that I felt a little pressure to try all exercises at once.

Good reference for things to practice regularly.

This is a very practical guide for someone who is new to mindfulness and wants to try meditation.
